One term to get a handle on is comprehensive coverage. You may run into this term when shopping for auto insurance. It’s also referred to as other than collision (OTC). This is the part of your auto insurance policy that covers damage to your vehicle not caused by collision with another vehicle or object. It also includes physical damage caused by fire, theft or vandalism.
