Buying Life Insurance

Todd: It is pretty simple. First, we’re going to do a needs analysis. Figure out exactly what you’re trying to protect. Is it children? Is it a spouse? Is it a home? That’s the first step. Once we go through that, we’ll give you a recommendation on how much coverage we think you should have based on the information that you provided to us. We’ll ask you some simple medical questions to try and you know get a little bit of a better picture as to how healthy you are. We will set up an exam for someone to come out to your house and get some blood samples, measure your height and weight. Basically just to find out as much as we can.

Vince: So I don’t have to go to the doctor on my own?

Todd: No. We’ll actually set this up for you. They’ll come directly to your house. It’s on your time. Whatever works for you. It’s a pretty simple process. It takes about 20 minutes.

Vince: And how long do you think the initial conversation will take when I call?

Todd: Probably about 20 to 25 minutes is the typical amount of time. Again, we’re trying to find out as much as we can about you and give you a good recommendation.

Vince: Um hum.

Todd: And that’s in order to do that, we need to spend a little bit of time with you.
